Madresfield Court

Two phases of work have been undertaken at Madresfield Court. Internally works were undertaken to clean the many stone fireplaces in the building.

Marble, limestone and slate fire surrounds and hearths were cleaned using non-abrasive methods and new slate hearths were formed for many of the fireplaces. Elsewhere in the building slate shelving and worktops were  installed.

Externally, works were undertaken to the pierced tracery of the parapet. The badly degraded moulded stones were removed to the workshop where moulds of the stone were taken. Our banker masons then set about working the trefoil tracery in new stone, replicating the detail of the original balustrade.
